How it works
The exam is divided into two tests:
- Speaking (approximately 20 minutes, 11 questions, score 0–200): Read aloud, Picture description, Direct questions, Information-based responses, and Opinion statement.
- Writing (approximately 60 minutes, 8 questions, score 0–200): Picture-based sentences, Email responses, and Opinion essay (minimum 300 words recommended).
A quiet environment is required for the Speaking section audio recording. The official ETS certificate is issued within 12 business days.
For Polimi students, the score will be transmitted electronically to the University and visible on your personal page.
