OFA Test Polimi
Placement test for Politecnico di Milano students. The OFA (Additional Training Obligation) is a 30-question test to be completed in 15 minutes, required for students who did not reach the minimum English score at enrollment. The test takes place remotely. Results are transmitted electronically to Politecnico di Milano and will be visible on your personal page. Zoom and ETS Secure Browser are not required for this test.
TOEIC® 4 Skills Home Edition
TOEIC® 4 Skills is the complete certification evaluating all 4 language skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing) in a single session. The TOEIC® 4 Skills test is now available from HOME. You will need a laptop or desktop with Windows 8 or later, or Mac OS 10.1 or later + Zoom. Once registration is complete, you will receive an email with all necessary information to access the Test. The official ETS certificate is issued within 12 business days from the exam date. TOEIC certification is The exam is voucher-based: after purchase you will receive a personal code to book your session directly on the ETS portal, with a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
TOEIC® Listening & Reading Home Edition
The TOEIC® Listening & Reading test now from HOME. It measures English-language listening and reading skills for the workplace. The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions divided into two sections: • Listening Section (45 minutes, 100 questions): Photographs, Question-Response, Conversations, and Talks. Respond to recorded English audio. • Reading Section (75 minutes, 100 questions): Incomplete Sentences, Text Completion, and Reading Comprehension. Self-paced responses to written materials. Total duration: approximately 2.5 hours (including 30 minutes for biographical questions). Results are available on the same day with digital certificate delivery. For Polimi students, the score will be transmitted electronically to the University and visible on your personal page. TOEIC scores are mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) from A1 to C1.
TOEIC® Speaking & Writing Home Edition
The TOEIC® Speaking & Writing test now from HOME. It measures English-language speaking and writing skills for the workplace. The exam is divided into two tests: • Speaking (approximately 20 minutes, 11 questions, score 0–200): Read aloud, Picture description, Direct questions, Information-based responses, and Opinion statement. • Writing (approximately 60 minutes, 8 questions, score 0–200): Picture-based sentences, Email responses, and Opinion essay (minimum 300 words recommended). A quiet environment is required for the Speaking section audio recording. The official ETS certificate is issued within 12 business days. For Polimi students, the score will be transmitted electronically to the University and visible on your personal page.
