Project Description:

British Language Services – Linguaviva – has been teaching Italian to foreigners for many years and has a solid history regarding the preparation of teaching materials, teacher training and the latest methodology. We have taught Italian to all kinds of students – actresses, football players, politicians, managers in large multi-national companies, students in Italy on scholarships from various foreign Universities or companies, airline hostesses and many more.

All our teachers are qualified, trained and chosen for their personality and dynamism. Many of our teachers have been with us for many years and we have students who return year after year or who recommend friends to come to us when they arrive in Italy.

INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
We recommend these courses to students who need a more “personalized” programme or who, for various reasons, cannot or prefer not to attend courses that last a long time. We recommend these courses to students who have to attend, for example, seminars or International meetings in the near future or who need to reach particular objectives in a short period of time. Obviously, with this kind of course less time is needed to cover a programme than with a group course. Lessons can be held in the school or in the company.
We suggest that students attend at least twice a week, Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday – two units of 45 minutes each lesson but of course this can be done on a more intensive basis. The number of lessons depends on objectives and the level the student wishes to reach.

FULL-IMMERSION COURSES
These courses are usually on an individual basis and are recommended to students who need to learn or improve their language in a short period of time. We also recommend these courses to students who due to various work commitments are unable to attend a “standard” course on a regular basis and who can therefore decide well in advance one or two weeks during the year when they can dedicate their time to learning a language on an intensive basis. For didactic reasons, these courses are only held in the school.

“Full-immersion” courses run from Monday to Friday from 9.00 – 12.45 and from 13.30 – 17.45 for a minimum of one week and require the student to be free from work commitments.

SEMI-INTENSIVE COURSES

These courses are usually on an individual basis and are recommended to students who need to learn or improve their language in a short period of time but who prefer not to study the whole day.

“Semi-intensive” courses run from Monday to Friday from 9.00 – 12.45 or from 13.30 – 17.45 for a minimum of two weeks and therefore allow the student to not abandon their work completely but at the same time to make rapid progress.
