GROUP COURSES IN THE SCHOOL: These are group courses from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C2) level with a maximum of 8 students per group. Courses run from October to May and from January to June. Once students have chosen the type of course and the time, they do a level test and interview and are then placed in a group made up of students of the same level. Business group courses start at intermediate (B1) level.

INDIVIDUAL COURSES: We recommend these courses to students who need a more "personalized" programme or who, for various reasons, cannot or prefer not to attend courses that last a long time. We recommend these courses to students who have to attend, for example, seminars or International meetings in the near future or who need to reach particular objectives in a short period of time. Obviously, with this kind of course less time is needed to cover a programme than with a group course. Lessons can be held in the school or in the company.

INTENSIVE COURSES: These courses are usually on an individual basis and are recommended to students who need to learn or improve their language in a short period. We also recommend these courses to students who due to various work commitments are unable to attend a "standard" course on a regular basis and who can therefore decide well in advance one or two weeks during the year when they can dedicate their time to learning a language on an intensive basis. For didactic reasons, these courses are only held in the school. "Full-immersion" courses run from Monday to Friday from 9.00 - 12.45 and from 13.30 - 17.45 for a minimum of one week and require the student to be free from work commitments. "Semi-intensive" courses run from Monday to Friday from 9.00 - 12.45 or from 13.30 - 17.45 for a minimum of two weeks and therefore allow the student to not abandon their work completely but at the same time to make rapid progress.

COMPANY COURSES: British Language Services - Linguaviva is definitely the right partner to resolve any problems of communication in a foreign language within the Company. It is no longer enough to have just a general knowledge of the language but to be familiar with the appropriate terminology related to the various fields of work. After an initial level test and interview and having discussed objectives, costs and planning together with the person responsible for organizing language courses within the Company, courses can be organized either in the Company itself or in our school. We also organize "EXECUTIVE COURSES" which are "made to measure" for professionals working in various fields. These courses are often on an individual basis or for small groups and a personal programme is prepared after an accurate analysis of the specific needs and requests of the participants.

British Language Services - Linguaviva is therefore able to resolve any kind of foreign language communication problem either for Companies or for private students and is the right partner to choose for a quality service and guaranteed results.

COURSE PLANNING We strongly recommend that all students attend a free test/interview before attending a course not only to assess their level but also to establish the real needs and objectives of the student or company in order to allow the Academic manager to prepare an appropriate programme of study and to advise on the number of lessons, either individual or in a group, needed to reach those objectives. The test is both written and oral.

Once courses start, a constant monitoring system takes place which allows the Academic Manager to report progress to the student or to the person responsible for language training in the company concerned.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
